Aline Feldman has brought together city and country in the same image, exploring the unexpcted juxtaposition of these seemingly disparate subjects and capturing a place where the artist's imagination and reality come together.

In her colorful, large -scale woodcuts, Aline Feldman portrays both rural and urban landscapes, often seen from high above.

The woodcut technique she uses creates bold areas of color separated by white lines. Looked at individually, these shapes are abstract, but when seen together, the composition forms a recognizable landscape.
